Why not create a banner or wall hanging using these triangles?

There are also three different methods of creating the triangles depending on what suits you.

Method 1:  Satin Stitch edges to the triangles/diamonds stitched together on the sewing machine with a zigzag stitch. The edging is not strictly satin stitch as we found it was better to use a different stitch to avoid loopy points. Method 1 includes optional eyelet holes in each corner of the triangle.

Method 2: This method would suit people who like quilting and patchwork as you sew the pieces together wrong sides facing with a straight stitch on your sewing machine.

Method 3: These triangles/diamonds are created in such a way that you have to turn them right side out through a gap left in the seam.  Stitch together however you like or hand sew the points together.

The files for Method 2 can be created from either Method 1 or Method 3.  Therefore the sets are labelled as either Methods 1-2 or Methods 2-3. Please ensure you order the right method. Full step by step pdf instruction file included.  Stitch count for Method 1 triangles is in the region of 4,000 - 4,500. Finished size of triangles is just under 4”.

Top Left - Noel banner created using Method 1.

Top right - Banner created using method 1 with close up below.

Above left - created using method 3 with gold trim added round outside edge. The snowflake embellishment is an fsl design used by my tester that was a freebie download unfortunately we can’t find the source.

Above Right - Mobile created using Method 1. Trees and bows are from Christmas Applique set.  Snowman and santa are from StitchDelight and DaintyStitches.

As you can see from the examples this set has lots of potential for creating a variety of different projets.

Don’t forget to check out the Advent Tree designs that use the same methods
