Hexagonal “In the Hoop” patchwork quilt blocks in three sizes. I’ve called this “Quilt Block 1” for the want of a better name as this is the start of a series of in the hoop patchwork quilt blocks. Click here to view Quilt Block 2 which is a partner to Quilt Block 1. This design set comes with a full colour pdf instruction file showing you how to make your blocks. For this project, apart from suitable fabric and thread, you will require batting and water soluble stabiliser. Also included are half blocks and triangles which add options for using the hexagonal blocks and turning them into a finished item. Also included are “outline” blocks which are done in one colour and only have running stitches visible apart from the satin stitch edges. The reverse side of the blocks is plain apart from the satin stitch edging. For details on the sizes and stitch counts for all the pieces, please click here. All sizes and options are shown together on this page. Once stitched out the blocks can be stitched together on your sewing machine and made into whatever you wish. |

Cris created this beautifull bag using the blocks, half blocks and triangles. I have been asked if the pattern to make the bag is available - sorry the answer is no as it was something Cris put together herself. |

Note: The 4” size will fit the large Janome SEW hoop when rotated. Please ask if you need SEW format designs and are unable to convert/rotate the design yourself. The 6” size will fit the Janome JEF B hoop and also the Large HUS hoop as I was able to rotate the designs which is why these formats are offered in this size. Please check the fileset details and compare overall size with your hoop size if you have other machines/hoop sizes to confirm which size(s) will fit your machine. If you need help, please ask and I will do my best to assist. |
