Essentially these are the same as the Valentine and Snowflake Scented Coasters with a couple of differences. The most obvious difference is the shape as these are in the shape of a heart and necessitates the use of a 5x7” hoop. One method is done so that the seam is enclosed as on the photo above right. The other method is done with a satin stitch edge with an optional picot edge (above left).

There is an inner which can be filled with a suitable scented filling. However, you can also use batting or felt cut to a suitable size instead.

Eileen had a great idea and added a hanging loop and used them as a holder for a small gift.

Another alternative is to use them as scented drawer sachets.


	And Teri used the designs as applique designs to make an extremely cute baby quilt. This can be quite easily achieved by stitching the first 2 colours and then skipping to the last colour.
