Eight delightful Fruit Applique designs feature in these sets. There are ordinary coasters as in the above photo, scented coasters as in the bottom photo and pot holders as in the middle photo below. All designs fit the 4x4” hoop with the exception of the pot holders. |

These pot holders come with a pdf instruction file showing you step by step how to make and stitch them out. 2 sizes are available for the approx 6” and 5” wide hoops. The great thing about this style of pot holder I use is that they don’t have a satin stitch edge and they have been created in such a way that the finished pot holder is larger than the limitations of your embroidery hoop. You will see from the low stitch count that they are fairly quick to stitch out. The stippling is optional. You don’t have to stitch it if you don’t want to! |

There are 8 fruit designs and 2 different versions of these scented coasters. There is the version with a satin stitch edge and then there is the version with an ordinary seam which I shall refer to as the plain version. The satin stitch version is in the photo above. The plain version is quicker to stitch out as the stitch count is less and would suit those who do not like trimming away excess fabric in the hoop such as you would have to so in the satin stitch edged versions, although you would still need to trim fabric in the hoop for the applique.. The coasters have a removable inner section which you can fill with a scented mix such as scented rice/wheat & lavender mix/granulated potpourri. There are 5 different sets of inners so that you can choose the one that suits your choice of filling best. The design set comes with a complete step by step pdf instruction file to help you stitch out and make up your scented coasters and includes all 16 fruit applique files and the 5 inners. The designs fit the 4x4” hoop. They are quick and easy last minute gifts to make...and why not make a few for yourself.
