This is a bowl with a difference.  It's created  like a regular fabric bowl but it has a free standing lace edging.  This design was extremely popular with my test stitchers.  It's available for the 4x4" and 5x7" hoop in PES, HUS and JEF formats.

For this design you will need fabric, wadding/batting/timtex or similar and water soluble stabiliser suitable for use with free standing lace designs.  The fileset comes with a complete set of colour instructions on how to stitch out and stitch up your bowl.

The photo of the bowl with the egg fabric is courtesty of Barbara.  It is the first complete fabric bowl she has ever stitched and she did a fantastic job not only with her stitching but also with her choice of colours.  She used a metallic blue to create a delicate effect with the eggs stitched on the lace border.  The second bowl photo with the yellow chick fabric was provided by Lia, again beautifully stitched and assembled and shows how your choice of colour scheme can make the same design look so different. . The third bowl is Shirley's bowl, again equally beautiful and yet so different.  I was so spoilt for choice that I had to show off all three photos.
