Paypal - Notification of Payment emails - are not always arriving in my inbox for some unknown reason, sometimes delayed, sometimes not at all. This is beyond my control. If you’ve not received your designs within a few hours, please forward on the details for me to verify against my Paypal account to sue4tdesigns@btinternet.com and then I can send out your designs. Thanks for understanding.

Delivery of Designs: All files are sent by email attachment to the Paypal email address unless you state clearly in the options box that you want it sent to an alternative email address. I attach the designs to the Notification of Payment that was sent to me on your behalf by Paypal. I find this is a convenient way for both the seller and buyer to check that the files sent are those ordered.

Please note that some file attachments are large even when zipped.

Please allow 48 hours for me to respond to your requests and send out designs once payment has been received.  Please also check your bulk/junk/spam folders as only too often important email ends up in there unfortunately. Please also remember that I live in the UK and therefore more than likely in a different time zone to you. Often US buyers order in the evening which is when I’m already in bed.

If your designs come back as undeliverable I will wait 24-48 hours for you to contact me asking where your designs are and then I will post on various yahoo groups asking for you to contact me if I hear nothing. I will work with a buyer to ensure that designs eventually reach you safely.

If you have arranged for your Paypal payment to come directly from your bank account rather than a credit card payment, then the designs will not be sent until that payment has cleared which usually takes 3-4 working days.  The money usually shows as being taken from your bank account a couple of days before it reaches me so please don’t assume that because the money has gone from your account it has reached me the same day.

Below is the message that I send out as a monthly reminder to members of my sue4tdesigns yahoo group:

Have you ordered designs and haven't got them? Please read the following as it will help us to amicably resolve the problem of missing designs.

If you've ordered designs and not received them within 24-48 hours of payment and there is not note on my website to say I'm away then the reason you haven't received them could be one of two reasons.

Firstly the Notification of Payment email from Paypal hasn't reached my inbox. I have found that occasionally that such emails vanish into cyberspace for some reason. I don't know whether it's a glich with Paypal and the email doesn't get generated and sent or a problem in cyberspace. Therefore I'm only aware of your order if I happen to notice it when checking my Paypal account or if you contact me.

I personally do regularly check my bulk email folders for my email addresses on a regular basis although given the amount of emails that are trapped there it is possible that I could miss an email but I've never had a genuine Paypal one in my bulk folder to the best of my knowledge.

Secondly the designs have been sent out but you haven't received them. Frequently this is because the email has ended up in a junk/bulk/spam email folder either on the server or in your email programme. Please do check your spam/bulk/junk mail folders before contacting me about missing designs. Occasionally designs do vanish into cyberspace too unfortunately.

I am finding more and more that at peak times in the evening in the UK emails vanish when sending via my ISP and frequently I end up forwarding on a second set of designs using my hotmail address. I work on the principle better that you receive two emails than none.

If you need to contact me about a missing order, please use the email addresses of sue4tdesigns@btinternet.com or sue4trouble@btinternet.com. On the off chance that the BT Internet server is down I also have an email address of sue4trouble@hotmail.com and sue4tdesigns@gmail.com.

If it appears that I am not responding to your emails, try an alternative email address of mine and ask for a read receipt too as that will tell you I've read your email and more than likely suggest that I have tried to respond.  Also include a 2nd email address from a different ISP wherever possible when contacting me that I can send the designs out to in case the problem is with your ISP deciding that I am spam.

I can quite honestly say that at the date of writing this note that once I've processed your order and sent out the designs, I have always succeeded in getting designs to a customer one way or another with a bit of time, patience, cooperation and understanding. Designs are almost always sent out within 24 hours of receipt of Notification of Payment from Paypal unless I've stated on my website that I am away...or of course I've not received that notification. 

Occasionally it is possible that I am having problems with the internet (like the time my phone line was snapped by a passing tall truck...in UK they are wires strung across road), computer or modem/router problems, power cut or things that happen in my life such as family/illness that mean that I can't get on to the internet for an unexpected and unknown period of time but the same applies to anyone's life and if you've been in that situation, you know that quite often there isn't a thing you can do about it in the very short term.

So don't get angry if it looks like I've ignored your purchase of my designs. Rude or abusive emails will not be tolerated. There is more than likely a very good reason why they haven't got to you. Sometimes it's as frustrating for me as it is for you.
