Diamonds Galore for Christmas. With this set there are two options - fabric diamonds and free standing lace diamonds that can be mixed and matched if you wish such as in the photo above where the red diamonds are fabric and the white ones are lace. There are 10 different Christmas fills: Candy Canes, Holly, Snowman, Noel, Xmas, Tree, Snowflake, Stocking, Present and Star. There are 4 different “half” diamonds. With curved edges as you see above and also with straight edges to give you the biggest flexibility when making an item out of the diamonds. On all of the half diamonds an extra file has been created where the fill has been reversed (apart from the snowflake). Click here to see the fileset details. Warning: There are a total of 86 files in each set and for the FSL version in PES it totals around 5MB!! The diamonds require a 5x7” hoop and there is a pdf instruction file with the fabric diamonds. The free standing lace diamonds are stitched on water soluble stabiliser and sewn together on your sewing machine using a zigzag stitch. There are so many things you can make from either set of diamonds and the photos show just a small selection of what my testers have made. The fabric diamonds in particular with the straight edged half diamonds open up all sorts of possibilities for making festive items. |
