This set of 4 Quilt Block Pot Holders on a butterfly theme. The design is done completely in the hoop and no additional sewing is required. The butterflies are applique style. These pot holders are a little different because they are created in such a way that they are larger than the size you stitch and dont have a satin stitch edging. The design set comes with a full step by step instruction pdf instruction file with photos showing you how to make these unique pot holders. A complete list of supplies required is included in the instructions as apart from suitable cotton fabric and heat resistant batting, you will require items such as water soluble stabiliser and temporary adhesive spray although there are other suggested alternatives that you can use instead of spray. There are 3 sizes available. 6x6, 5x5 and 5x7 and you get 4 designs per size. The finished size of the pot holder is approximately 1/2 larger than the embroidery size. The table below will help you determine if it will fit your machine as there are so many different hoop sizes. |
